Post op. instructions for Crowns and Bridges:
Minor discomfort of tooth and gums is to be expected for a few days. Over-the-counter medications may be needed to control discomfort. Limit chewing of hard and sticky foods on the temporary restoration. Contact the office if the temporary restoration dislodges or is not comfortable.
Post op. instructions for Fillings:
Minor discomfort of tooth and gums is to be expected for a few days. Over-the-counter medications may be needed to control discomfort. Limit chewing of hard and sticky foods on the restoration. Contact the office if the restoration dislodges or is not comfortable.
Post op. instructions for Extractions:
Minor discomfort and bleeding may occur. The use of prescribed medication or over-the-counter medications may be necessary to control discomfort. If any problems or concerns arise, please contact our office immediately.
Post op. instructions for root canal:
Minor discomfort of tooth and gums is to be expected for a few days. A prescription from your dentist or over-the-counter medication may be necessary. If soreness or swelling persists, it is very important to contact our office immediately.
Post op. instructions for Periodontal:
Following Scaling and Root Planing (deep cleaning) minor discomfort of teeth and gums may be present. The use of over-the-counter medications and warm salt-water rinses should provide relief. If any concerns or questions arise, please call our office.
